We paint murals for home and business owners, designers and architects. James and the team have worked for a wide range of designers project managers and private clients, and pride themselves on building good working relationships and providing a high level of service.
The initial stage is one of us gathering as much information as possible about your project. We need to know about the site where the mural is to be installed, the designs or design ideas that you have, and practical considerations such as a timetable for the work. If the site is still under development then we will need a full set of drawings.
If you would like us to design the mural then it's helpful if you make a scrapbook of references as a starting point. These can be clippings from magazines or photographs showing colours and textures, styles and motifs that you would like us to draw on.
This first visit is normally free of charge if it is within a fifty mile radius of central London. Once we have enough information we can produce some initial design ideas ( if needed) and an estimate as to the cost of the project.
Murals can be painted on site or in the studio and then installed using a marouflage technique. This technique allows the painting to be removed at a later date and re-installed at a new location.
Working in the studio can reduce the amount of travelling and accommodation expenses incurred. It also means less disruption on site. We upload photographs of each day's progress to a private web page for each client. We'll send you a link each day so it's really very easy to monitor the progress of your project, and you are welcome to visit the studio at any time.
The web portal also works well when the mural is to be painted on site but the client is unable to visit each day.
